OVERVIEW
EVOCLIP polymer clips employ a “compression and latch” closure mechanism that provides a more secure closure than metallic clips. They provide an alternative to metal clips in instances where there may be a higher risk of complications associated with the use metal clips and where greater strength and security are desirable. The clips come in a sterile cartridge comprising 6 polymer clips, color coded: gold, purple or green corresponding to sizes extra-large (XL), large (L) and medium large (M/L) respectively. Clips are used to clamp or occlude vessels or other small tubular structures in order to avoid bleeding after transection of these structures.
