OVERVIEW
EVOCLIP titanium metal clips employ a distal closing mode of action that encloses the vessel completely before final closure of the clip thus minimizing extrusion of tissue from the closed clip. Grooves are cut on the inner and outer surface of the clips to enhance clip security on vessel and in the jaws of the clip applier respectively. The clips come in a sterile cartridge comprising 6 clips and color are coded: yellow, green, white or blue corresponding to sizes large (L), medium large (M/L), medium (M) and small (S) respectively. Clips are used to clamp or occlude vessels or other small tubular structures in order to avoid bleeding after transection of these structures.
